BETTY JACKSONbekasgumicukiNov 30, 20151 min read10. BETTY JACKSON London // London The colours of her dresses exude positivity and ease. Betty Jackson's looks seem effortless yet ultra stylish. She studied fashion at the Birmingham College of Art under Zandra Rhodes, and started her fashion career as a fashion illustrator during her senior year (1971) at college. She learnt her trade in the later 1970s as a designer for the Quorum line of Ossie Clark.Betty Jackson has always been inspired by artists and painters. Initially her idea was to put the paintings that inspired her onto clothes and cut them into clothes. Although the silhouette of her clothes has changed radically since the early eighties, she remains strongly inspired by the visual arts as far as colour, texture and mood is concerned. bettyjackson_ss11_4bettyjackson_ss11_3bettyjackson_ss11_2bettyjackson_ss11_1bettyjackson_aw12_6bettyjackson_aw12_5bettyjackson_aw12_4bettyjackson_aw12_3bettyjackson_aw12_2bettyjackson_aw12_1 #fashiondesigner
